I've always believed good design should be in service of something good.

The organizations working to save our planet, address social issues, and create meaningful global change deserve to be impossible to ignore.

Too often the loudest brands aren’t the ones doing the most good. I started Caretta Caretta to change that — to help purpose-driven organizations build a presence so clear and compelling that more people don’t just notice their work, they understand it, believe in it, and want to be part of it.

Let’s do this together.

meet Candace

Candace has been a designer and artist for what feels like most of her life, picking up her first skills in high school and spending nearly 16 years after refining her craft.

Somewhere along the way, the work stopped feeling like enough. She’d always carried a quiet belief that design and communication could do more than sell products; that they could genuinely change the world. After years of searching for a larger purpose within her work, everything began to come together.

Caretta Caretta is the product of 12 years of professional design experience, pointed at work that actually matters, toward organizations fighting for the planet, for people, and for a future worth building.

Candace’s work goes far beyond beautiful innovative design. She helped us clarify our story, define our voice, and create a cohesive visual identity that supports both Plant Shop 805 and Arch Rock Aloes. Her ability to blend strategy, branding, and design resulted in assets that not only look exceptional but also communicate who we are and where we’re headed as a company.

how we work together

Every project starts with a conversation. Before anything else, we want to understand the problem you’re trying to solve — whether that’s a brand that no longer reflects who you are, a website that isn’t bringing in the right people, or a visual presence that hasn’t kept up with your growth.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to know something isn’t working.

on timelines

Every project is different. A brand identity moves at a different pace than a full website build. We’ll always be upfront about what to expect before we begin.

discovery call

We spend time getting to know your organization, your purpose, and your goals. This is a free, no-pressure conversation, just two people figuring out if we’re the right fit.

proposal

Once we’re aligned, we put together a clear scope of work, timeline, and investment so there are no surprises.

design

This is where the magic happens. Depending on the project, we’ll work closely together or check in at key milestones, whatever serves the work best.

revisions

We refine until it feels right. Your feedback matters at every stage.

launch

We deliver your final assets, ready to go, and make sure you feel confident using them.

what we ask of you

Come with a problem you want to solve and a willingness to engage in the process. If we’re building a website together, we’ll need your commitment to providing content on an agreed timeline — because great design can only go as far as the story it’s telling. If content creation is something you need help with, we can work through that together too.

is this the right fit?

We work with nonprofits, social enterprises, and purpose-driven businesses that care deeply about people, the planet, and the impact they’re creating, and who are ready to invest in design and storytelling that helps their mission grow.

Not sure if that’s you? That’s what our discovery call is for.

let's build something that matters

If you’ve made it this far, I have a feeling your work is exactly the kind I started this studio for. I’d love to hear about what you’re building, what’s not working, and where you want to go.
